Tim Gekas

Chief Operating Officer

Tim has been with Synergy IT Solutions for more than 28 years. During his tenure, he has served in several different capacities culminating in his role today as the Chief Operating Officer. On top of overseeing all of Synergy’s operations in Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, and Ithaca, Tim also heads up the managed services team, including our deployment, network operations center and help desk activities.

As one of the longest-tenured employees at Synergy, Tim has amassed a vast level of knowledge and expertise about the IT services industry. As a native of Buffalo, he is very knowledgeable about the region and its business climate. In his role as COO, Tim’s focus is on keeping a steady hand at the wheel to ensure all the employee-owners of Synergy can maximize their investment in the company. Beyond that, Tim is always looking for operational efficiencies, emerging trends in the IT industry, and opportunities for Synergy to grow its footprint.
